Let me tell you a little something about Joe. This is a super weird way to start off a blog post but I feel it’s necessary. Joe has many faces; The one where he’s being slapped by his groomsmen, the one where he is being thrown in the air very dangerously, the one that expresses love without even moving or speaking. Then theres the face that looks at Jenna. As a wedding photographer, this is a face you never forget. You capture it all day and you admire it all day and then you talk about it at the beginning of a blog post LOL! When you scroll through these images there will be many times that you see “this face.” You will know EXACTLY what I am talking about! You see, this face speaks a THOUSAND words. It speaks endless love, an abundance amount of joy, and PURE happiness. Jenna and Joe are one of those couples that truly love like Jesus; not only to one another, but to everyone around them. If Jenna and Joe never make an impact on you it is most likely because you have not been paying attention! I will never be able to properly express the gratitude and joy I feel from being apart of this wedding day. I went home that night reminded of how much Jesus loves ME and how he brings these incredible couples into my life where we all get to pray and worship and follow Jesus together; and for that, I will forever be grateful for this incredible life changing job that I have been blessed with. Crying yet? I totally am!
Jenna and Joe said “I do” on May 29, 2021 at the Beaufort Inn in Beaufort, South Carolina. A venue where ALL of your low country love story dreams come true. The Beaufort Inn is such an amazing venue because you can have EVERYTHING there. You can have your reception, ceremony, and a place for groomsmen and bridesmaids to get ready. On top of that, there are even places for some of your guests and closest family to stay, not to mention its pretty breath taking. As I arrived to the girls getting ready room, a rush of emotion filled the room because everyone knew the day was finally happening. Jenna got dressed and sipped coffee and then she finally got into her beautiful gown. Her mom was so emotional during this moment and I loved every second of it. Joe was hanging out in the Greyhound House across the street with his guys and was having a blast. Jenna and Joe finally gave their first kiss and were finally married. We scooped them up and took them to the marina in Waterfront Park in Downtown Beaufort and took the most dreamy and glowy portraits on the docks. They both had such a blast the rest of the evening and I even got a chance to snatch them up again and take some of my favorite portraits of the day.
Jenna and Joe, what an honor it was to be apart of such a very special day. The love you two have for one another is one in a million and I will forever admire it. Thank you both for trusting me to capture your wedding day.
With Love and Joy, Madison Banks Photography!
