Have you ever had the opportunity to meet your soul sister? Well, I did when I met Jessie. We instantly knew that we were the exact same person and that this was going to be an absolute blast. It is so crazy because this is exactly what my wedding would have looked like if Chase and I had decided to have a bigger wedding rather than an elopement. So capturing Jessie and Jamesons wedding was like capturing my own wedding. Guys, I love these two and I love them even more when they’re together. One time Jameson shot me a message and wanted me to come to dinner and surprise Jessie when they were visiting Beaufort and It was the sweetest little time!
Jessie and Jamesons wedding began at Heartwood Acres on a BEAUTIFUL sunny day in Georgia. I actually grew up about an hour from here so it was kind of like being home again! During their ceremony Jessie and Jameson washed each others feet which is the purest form of sacrifice as a Christian. (John 13:12 So when He had washed their feet, and taken His garments and reclined at the table again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.) It was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever witnessed. These two danced the night away and off to their honeymoon they went.
Jessie and Jameson, what an honor it was to be apart of your special day and even more apart of your lives. I will forever be grateful for this relationship we have built and the trust that you have given me to capture such an important day in your life.
