Imagine your perfect afternoon as a wedding photographer based in Charleston. What would that look like for you? Well this is exactly what a perfect afternoon looks like for me; strolling the streets downtown with a couple that is so much fun to hangout with where you can make jokes and they actually laugh. I left home so proud of my jokes even though most of my couples just laugh to make me feel good; hey, I will take it! Kayla and Drew met when Kayla headed out for a girls night to see a concert and then downtown afterwards. Kayla ended up running into drew at a local bar and they both found out that they were both from Rhode Island.
We began the engagement session at one of my favorite doors on Tradd Street in downtown Charleston. It is so visually appealing and is just so romantic for photos. I always pass this door but have been saving it for one of my couples! After taking some of my favorite portraits there we headed over to the most popular location for engagement photos and that is this white and blue house that is so perfect all of the time and just had to be a stop because of Kaylas blue dress. After that we drove to this beautiful gate where the sun glowed for a few minutes. We even got the gate closing which doesn’t happen very often. Behind the gate is a beautiful courtyard full of lush greens. We ended Kayla and Drews engagement session walking in front of rainbow row, requested by Kaylas mom, so sweet! Kayla and Drew, I am so honored to be apart of such a special time in your lives. I truly cannot wait to capture your special day at Dunes West next year!
