A Spring Westin Wedding

I can remember the first time Andrea and Chris reached out to me. You could instantly feel the connection that we all had and that they were going to make the perfect fit! Andrea had a true vision for her wedding day, she LOVES peonies and that is what she had mentioned to me the most during the wedding planning process. While she had a direct vision for her wedding day, she is such a laid back bride. All day she just went with the flow! Not ONCE did I see her freak out over anything. The Westin was her dream wedding venue! She wanted to say “I do” to Chris at that exact spot! The day was stunning, Andrea was a dream bride, and first look with her daddy was just precious.
Andrea and Chris have such a unique meeting story that I heard over and over again throughout the wedding day. Andrea and Chris have the sweetest Golden Retriever named Huck who you might have seen throughout their engagement session blog. But Andrea was the first to get Huck when he was a puppy. Her sisters convinced her to get him so truly they are the start of this beautiful marriage between Andrea and Chris! Andrea had brought Huck down from her apartment complex where both her and Chris lived. HOW CRAZY!!! He obviously thought Huck was a cutie but when he saw Andrea, he did everything he could to find out who she was. Seriously, how cuter can this get? Long story short, they dated, got engaged, and now, THEY ARE MARRIED!!! This is one of the sweetest meeting stories I have heard!
The wedding day began on a gorgeous Friday at The Westin! The skies were clear of clouds! Andrea and Chris surrounded themselves with their best friends all week long. We popped confetti, cried a little, and headed to get them married. The ceremony was so beautiful and sweet! The reception space, designed by Beth Baldwin Weddings was just a magical dream! The tall floral arrangements by Gardenias in HHI complimented the space so well as The Westin carries such beautiful high ceilings. At the end of the night glow sticks were given to guests and they all danced the night away. What a fun day!
Andrea and Chris, I am truly honored to be apart of your lives. What a dream it is to know you both and to capture the day that means the most to you. I truly pray that your marriage is beyond your wildest dreams and that Huck gets a second treat after Andrea gave him one already. Thank you so much for including me in your special day. I am always cheering for you guys!!! HIP HIP HORAN!!!
