The day began wet, muggy, and rainy! I started to get super nervous for Shayna and Matts outdoor, beachfront ceremony. As you will see throughout these images on the blog, we were given such a gift! The rain all went away just in time for first looks and all of Shayna and Matts portraits. It turned out to be some of the best light I have been able to get at the two locations we chose for their bride and groom portraits. I feel like they got the best of both worlds with light. During their first set of bride and groom portraits we got an overcast sky and then when we arrived at their second location, Six Oaks, we got the most beautiful glow through the oak trees that made for AMAZING bride and groom portraits that I feel they will cherish forever!
Shayna and Matts wedding day was one for the books. I am so incredibly thankful for the friendship I have been able to develop with these two. It was such an honor and joy to capture their special day for them. Thank you both so much for allowing me to come into your lives in such an important way. I wish you nothing but true joy and happiness for years and years to come. I hope you all enjoy these images from Shayna and Matts special day!
