This beautiful wedding day began at cannon green, which is a small venue in downtown Charleston that has so much personality and charm! When I walked in the door to greet mallory while she was getting ready, you would have thought Beyoncé walked through the door the way Mallory lit up! As soon as she ran to give me the BIGGEST hug, I knew that I would never not be a wedding photographer. I knew that I was living my dream life! Having couples that rave about you and truly cherish your relationship and what you have to offer them is such a gift! Sometimes I wonder how I have become so truly blessed with such amazing couples like Mallory and Matthew. Mallory truly is an MB bride and I am so thankful!
Mallory and I had a meeting a few weeks before her wedding day and she informed me that she wanted all of her portraits at Cannon Green and I was up for the challenge. When it came time for their bride and groom portraits, I was looking for a spot last minute because I work so much better under pressure like that. Some of my best ideas come from last minute idea that I don’t think anyone would have thought of. As we were walking out the door to find a location, I turn the corner and there is a beautiful brick wall with ivy running all along the side of it. BAM! PERFECT location for my style and what my couples expect from me! We did all of the portraits there because it seemed like a no brainer.
Their wedding day was so emotional and perfect. Everything went as planned and it was incredible. The love that Mallory and Matt have for their families and friends is unmatched. Their wedding day was such a fun party and one that I will remember for a lifetime. As you scroll through these images I hope you see just that, the love, emotion, and happiness that occurred throughout this special day!
