After a couple of months off from shooting weddings, because let’s be real, nobody wants to get married in the dead middle of August in the south, the day finally came where it was time for Joanne and Robb to say “I do.” I always find it so rewarding to take the time to get to know my couples and build a friendship with them. I feel like I have known Joanne and Robb for years and coming into their wedding day was like meeting up with old friends. You may recognize these two from their beautiful engagement session at the Waterfront Park in Beaufort, South Carolina. The joy they shared during their engagement session rolled over into ALL of their wedding photos.
When I walked into this wedding day, I knew that I would face the challenge of being overly exhausted from being about 32 weeks pregnant. But right when I arrived, this rush of energy came over me and lasted with me throughout the entire day. I guess thats what happens when you LOVE your job! The rain held off all day and it was a perfect wedding. Their getting ready started in a Beaufort Inn apartment and their ceremony took place at St. Peters Catholic Church which is right over the bridge into Ladys Island. After they said their vows, we took some of my favorite portraits of the day on the grounds of the church. Their reception took place on top of the Old Bay Marketplace which was so beautifully accented by twinkle lights! This day was so magical and I could not be more happy for Joanne and Robb! Thank you both for choosing me to be apart of this super fun experience with you. I wish you endless years of happiness and joy! Enjoy this beautiful MB couple who have stolen a piece of my heart!
