I can remember the first time that Gigi reached out to me. She was having a really hard time choosing a wedding photographer for her St. Augustine wedding this December. Gigi wanted a very particular style and a particular type of wedding photographer that made her and Kevin feel as comfortable as possible. This made me so happy because that is the reason that most of my couples choose to move forward because they need that guidance, and lets be real, even I need a ton of guidance when I am getting my photos taken. Gigi and Kevin have been such lights and such joy in my business ever since they said “yes, we want you to be our wedding photographer.” Gigi has become so much more to me than a bride, she has become a true friend full of support and encouragement. I am so excited that I get to capture their wedding day and hope to have them both as life long friends.
Gigi and Kevins engagement started off on Rainbow row where we took the cutest portraits on Longitude Lane. This is one of my favorite alleys downtown because, when sunny, you can get the prettiest glow. We may have shared this alley with A LOT if mosquitos, but it was totally worth it. After that, we headed down the row just a little bit and found the most even light that was so beautiful on Gigis skin tone. We ended the engagement session near that same spot and it was so magical. Keep a look out for their beautiful wedding day in St. Augustine this coming December.
