When Emily and Mitchell first reached out to me, they were going to be getting married in Hilton Head. They later decided that they wanted to bring me all the way to Ohio for their wedding and let me tell you, I couldn’t be more honored or excited. It just warms my heart to know that I have made connections with couples enough to where they would want to fly me across the country to capture their special day. Emily and Mitchell met in high school when they started dating. After graduation they both went to Ohio State University and have been together for 8.5 years now. Back in May they both went on a trip to Maui which is where Mitchell proposed. SO SWEET!!
Mitchell is the sweetest! All throughout the engagement session I would catch him looking at Emily with so much love and sneaking in an undirected kiss every now and again. You can just tell that these two have so much love for each other. We chose Tradd street for the beginning of their engagement session because I knew it was not going to be too crowded. Having an engagement session downtown Charleston on a Friday afternoon can get a little tricky if you are shooting in very crowded touristy spots. We ended the engagement session at Folly Beach State Park where the light was so perfect! I will tell you that downtown Charleston can be so tricky for light but we found the perfect places. I hope you enjoy a sneak peak into Emily and Mitchells engagement session. Keep a look out for their wedding in September!
