A Breezy River Shoot

Before moving to Charleston, Chase and I used to live in the very small town of Hampton, South Carolina. I moved to Hampton when I was about 16. I obviously had to look for a job when I got my license so I discovered the Fairey Law Firm. They hired me as an assistant to the office and it was my very first job. This is where I met Carolines family being they own the law firm. Carolines mom has always kept up with me even when I first started Madison Banks Photography. So you can imagine how excited I was when Carolines mom reached out to me to let me know that Caroline was getting married to Robby. Unfortunately, I was already booked on her wedding day but was super excited to still be apart of their engagement session ad capturing this part of their life for them.

Caroline and Robby met at South Carolina Governors School for the arts and Humanities where she was studying creative writing and he was studying music. They started dating at the beginning of senior year. By the time they realized how serious their relationship was, it was time to apply to four year schools. They did four long years of long distance, Robby at Duke and Caroline at USC. Robby soon after bought an engagement ring and hid that thing FOR A YEAR!!! I have no idea how he kept a secret for that long. Robby planned a trip to the Florida Keys in May and proposed to Caroline there. It is such a sweet story, these two, and I cannot wait to see where life takes them together as a couple.
