A Traditional Downtown Charleston Wedding

Tori + Cameron | A Rainy Downtown Charleston Engagement

Have you ever had someone show up to engagement session and perfectly match the locations that you go to? Well that totally happened on Tori and Camerons engagement. It was the most perfect thing I have ever seen!

Cameron and Tori have already become such amazing friends. I already felt like I knew them before they arrived on the engagement session because we had been chatting so much making sure their engagement session went perfectly. These two are full of love and I know I say that probably on every blog post but its totally true. I think all of my couples are completely and totally in love and that just means I am doing something right! Before their engagement session I did not know that Tori was a teacher but now it TOTALLY makes since. Cameron asked tori to be his forever in New York and it was the sweetest thing! I love these two y’all!

Cameron and Toris engagement was supposed to be on Hilton Head Island but due to rain and their original locations not being available, we decided to move the shoot to Charleston where we had options for covering from the rain. We began the shoot at the customs house which is not the most popular destination for an engagement session downtown, but that just makes me want to shoot there even more. The big beautiful columns make the shoot look so romantic, which it totally was even without a grand location. The gorgeous over cast sky made for perfect light and skin tones. I was able to place them anywhere and it would turn out beautifully.

We ended the engagement session at White Point Garden in downtown Charleston. White Point Garden holds such a treasure for the outdoors lover. Whenever you want to get away from the city and still be in the city this is the perfect spot. The trees are so historical and its beyond amazing!

Tori and Cameron, It is such an honor to have been chosen to capture such a special time in your lives. I cannot wait to watch the two of you become one and to capture that for you. Lets get yall married!!!!!
