You know those people that come into your business and life and you all just become really great dear friends? Well, Samantha has become such a good friend! When Samantha and Chris reached out to me to book their wedding I knew that we would be a great fit. Their personalities aligned with mine so well. Samantha had a vision for her engagement session so the pressure was on, as it is for most engagements. Engagement sessions are the beginning of the wedding day process so I have to make sure it counts.

We started the evening in downtown Charleston where we began on Rainbow Row. The scenery is always so beautiful but choosing locations downtown can be tricky. You have to fight the traffic and people walking by. For some reason though, that day was not very busy and there were not many people walking the streets! This made it the perfect day for their engagement session.

After taking portraits at the waterfront, we spotted the cutest little yellow townhome that went perfect with Samantha and Chris outfits! Then we proceeded to another home with the most stunning light blue shutters that just brought the entire engagement session together. I had these two locations in mind before arriving downtown so I was beyond excited that we were able to stick to those locations due to downtown being unpredictable sometimes.

Samantha and Chris, I am so honored to have been chosen to capture such a special time in both of your lives. I truly know that your wedding day is going to be so beautiful and special! Now, let’s getting y’all married!
