It used to be very rare for me to have a groom who was super excited about the experience process with me. Once I began nailing down which couples would get the most out of me as a person as well as a wedding photographer, I started to get grooms like Nick. All of my grooms slowly started to follow in that pattern of being super comfortable with me and just all in all having a great time during the wedding experience process. You see Nick is so perfect for Katie in so many ways. With Katie being a tad bit shy, Nick brings out the absolute best in her and it is so fun to watch and photograph. He knows her and can read her like the back of his hand and I love it. Katie and Nicks wedding had a little piece missing, which a lot of my brides go through this on their wedding day. Katies dad just recently passed away so incorporating him into the wedding day as much as possible was super important for me to do. I think it is always important for me to honor them throughout the wedding day and bring their memory in as much as possible without it being overwhelming for my couples. While there were moments of sadness for Katie as she missed her father so much, there was still so much joy surrounding the wedding day. Katie and Nick, what an honor it was to be apart of your special day at The Beach House Resort on Hilton Head Island. I will forever cherish your friendship and wish you the happiest and most joyful years of marriage.
