Photographing other photographers can be intimidating for me because photographers obviously know what they want in their photos! But honestly capturing Julie and Cas engagement was so easy and fun. Julie should seriously be a model she is GORGEOUS!!! Our personalities are just so similar and I knew this from day one, the day we first met during her consultation. Julie and Cas just reasonable a MBP bride and for that I am so thankful.
Their engagement session started at St Michaels Alley in downtown Charleston. I thought it would be the perfect place to begin. After that location we headed over to Chalmers street. When your wanting that historic downtown Charleston feel for your engagement session this location is always a no brainer. You can get so many different angles from this street and the next street over holds so many great locations as well. So most times it is my starting point. We ended the evening at Hampton Park. Hampton Park in the spring is the PERFECT location for couples that want that nature feel while still being close to downtown. Right when I arrived, I saw all of the hydrangeas were in bloom. If you know me, you know that hydrangeas are my favorite plant when it comes to portraits. I absolutely loved being able to use the blooms are fore ground that made for really beautiful portraits.
I cannot wait for these two to get married in October of next year at Dunes West which is one of my favorite venues here in Charleston. So, enjoy my favorites from Julie and Cas engagement session. It was so difficult to choose!!!
